When he helped launch Green Cloud Technologies, Charlie Houser already had more than three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry—as an entrepreneur, investor and senior executive. During that time, he served as COO and CEO of three telecommunications companies that each generated over $100 million in annual revenues.

Charlie also served as a director for a variety of organizations, including: the Telecommunications Resellers Association, LDDS, Tel/Man, Corporate Telemanagement Group, NuVox Communications, Seruus Ventures, LLC; Seruus Telecom Fund, L.P.; Teleco, Inc., iBasis, Inc. and Summit Financial Corporation. He won the Ernst & Young South Carolina Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1993.

Charlie holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi, and he’s completed the Executive Program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Outside of business, Charlie enjoys serving as the current Chairman of the Board of Wilmer Hall, a children’s home founded in 1864, and being an active member of the Kiwanis Club.
