Green Cloud Announces Record Growth and Names Co-Founder Keith Coker as New CEO

GREENVILLE, SC (February 6, 2018) – Green Cloud Technologies (“Green Cloud”), a world-class cloud solution provider for channel-only partners, ended 2017 with record growth and promoted Keith Coker as CEO to lead the company into its seventh year of business.

One of the original founders of Green Cloud, Coker helped grow the start-up company into one of the largest independent channel-only cloud IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) providers in the country. Green Cloud ended 2017 with revenue up 175 percent over the last three years and grew their customer base to include 550 Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) who turn to Green Cloud for turn-key, cloud-based virtual servers, backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Coker was previously Green Cloud’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and prior to starting Green Cloud in 2011, he spent 14 years serving in various executive level technical capacities, including Chief Technology Officer at two telecommunications companies where he managed $275 million of network infrastructure deployment, capital expenditures, and operating expenses.

“Keith’s commitment to understanding and listening to the needs of our channel partners will make him an invaluable CEO and the right person to lead our company,” said Charles S. Houser, Green Cloud, Founder and Chairman of the Board. “His experience and leadership will ensure that Green Cloud’s dedicated employees will successfully serve our growing channel partner community.”

Experiencing a growth rate of more than 6,700% since Green Cloud’s first full year of business, Green Cloud was included in Inc. 5000’s 2017 and 2016 annual rankings of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
