Issue Description
By default, the local printers will be redirected to the virtual desktop. The printer that is set as the default on the local machine will be redirected and set as the default printer on the virtual desktop. This is by design on the View client.
Solution/Workaround
To prevent the View client from setting the redirected printer as the default change the registry entries below. For dynamic desktops this will be done on the pattern and the pool will need to be refreshed. On static desktops, each desktop will need the key changed.

32-bit systems – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ThinPrint\Client
64-bit systems – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ThinPrint\Client
Change the REG_DWORD value for DefaultState key to 0
- A value of 1 sets the default printer in the View desktop to the default printer on the computer running the View Client.
- A value of 0 disables this redirection.
